The experiment was sabotaged by what looks like goat hooves (probably a courtesy from the ETO). Going forward, I assume they're going to show that whatever experiments these Wallfacers come up with will get tampered with except Luo Ji who is just doing whatever and living out his dream life.

Honestly, I can't help but laugh in the second part. Luo Ji in this part was a rollercoaster of emotions. I will assume Zhuang Yan, the student that Da Shi, the military guy/former cop found has a face that matches Da Shi's sketch of Luo Ji's ideal woman.

Third part takes place one year ago about Luo Ji's maladaptive daydream (aka vivid daydreams). I assume the notebook/diary he put back in the suitcase was a collection of narratives of the fictional woman in his daydream

Seriously I'm also confused as to why the MC is like this, the plot is mostly hardcore sci fi complicated stuff and then they witch to MC who acts like a spoiled and rich young playboy doing nothing but goofing around, then to make it worse they add romance bullshit. If I wanted romance I would go watch a shoujo or rom com shounen anime, I dig romance and all, but I'm here for the sci fi not this crap. The defense people are acting like dumbasses helping him have dates and shit lmao I can't understand what made them pick the MC to become one of the four wallfacers or whatever they are called.

Also they probably picked this girl to stay with MC to calm him down by her pretending to be his "ideal woman" so that he won't complain again about being a wall facer. I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be a fake/actress hired by them to manipulate him. It totally feels as if MC is from a totally different anime/story and they mixed the two shows accidentally by adding scenes from both together.
